Come enjoy a night out in one of Grand County's oldest buildings!
Gallery Contact Hours Of Operation Thurday Thru Sunday 4pm to 10pm History: The building was constructed by Captain T.J. Dean in 1874. He originally operated it as The Middle Park Hotel with The Dean Saloon located in the northwest corner of the building. In 1883 he was murdered in The Grand Lake Shootout of 1883. A year later The MeQuery Family purchased the building and opened up Hot Sulphur's first and only Stagecoach stop. From there it operated as many things, from "The Stagecoach Stop" Model T cabins, to a bed and breakfast, to private residence. We here at The Dean Public House proudly re-established the saloon in 2017 in honor of its glorious history. Our Mission: To provide Grand County residents a great community environment where we can converse and enjoy a unique dining experience.
